Not even.

I'm wondering if this is .1L or DEKALiters (10L) per 5hrs.
And IG or IRL. You've had some problems with that one in the past.

Decilitres per 5 ingame hours, indeed.

can you make the auroch less likely to cause permastuck? it is rather easy getting permanently stuck with their swarm mechanics atm.

Err...perhaps my question wasn't clear. That's .1L/5 IG hrs then?

Or rather...how many 'deciliterS'?

And my math might be off but I'm thinking that comes to ~1.4L per cow, per IRL day, Server Downtime notwithstanding.

Except cows start at milk quantity 10, so it's 14l a day.

So they start with 10L a milk. How does that change the output rate by a factor of 10?

I think that the number isn't current milk in udder (mainly because bulls have that stat as well), but milk production rate.

*edit* Yeah, says so in the OP. It's 10dl per 5 ingame hours, so 140dl per real day.

The "Milk Quantity" stat of a cow indicates how many deciliters of milk the cow produces (when milking) every 5 ingame hours, so the default stat value of 10 would yield 1.0 L per 5 ingame hours, or 14.4 liters each real day (but the udder cannot hold more than 10.0 L).

Cows, by the way, stop milking again if they ever become less than 1/4 full (with regards to food, that is). I have considered adding the effect that they stop milking after a while if it isn't taken from the udder in some time (by either a calf or a player, of course).

Surely, this is only a problem until the cattle economy has been bootstrapped. It can be argued, of course, that it would be very helpful to be able to travel with cows and such things, but that is obviously another matter.

How on earth could I NOT have pulled all that from the OP. Thank you for clarification.

And You CAN'T travel with cows? wtf.....milk is gonna be more valuable than steel soon. Let alone fucking cheese holy shit.
