Someone at full barbarian (Or maybe just someone with Murder) should be able to make things out of human bodies.
A throne made of bones, perhaps?
Or how about a wineglass made from a human skull.
"Bring me wine in the skull of an enemy."
Would be Oh-so satisfying and give use to the bodies of failed russian thieves laying around.

I assumed the knock out penalty was to punish players for picking fights with animals who are too tough for em without necessarily killing those players...

Personally I think knock out (and all other combat strikes) should carry danger of harsh debufs which require healers and time to heal.

Then again you got state of the art armor and wont get knocked out as easy as the random noob aka mediocre player. So really, what are you talking about

Well, that's what brought back the idea this time around, but we've intended it anyway since even before we had any animals in the game. My original plan was to have the SHP from the knock-out attack carry over into HHP damage, but that doesn't seem all too bright given the current situation. :)

Incorrect on the irrelevant points of my own armor and stats.

I'm talking about my distaste for the current lack of consequence for engaging in fisticuffs with dangerous wild animals!

Yeah, its not like many people still use the normal client, and have no way to avoid getting aggro sometimes, and impossible to get away sometimes. They should be given massive debuffs and skill loss for something completely out of their control.

DURRR.

Also, the only way to know how strong are animals and how good is your armor/weapon/combat skills is to give a try. It's fucking testing!

I'm not sure if that's a joke or not. In most cases when you're a noob, you're walking along minding your own business, and a bear (or now even a boar) comes and knocks you out in 1-2 hits. You lose all your SHP, and you're left unconscious for about a minute. You have the option of trying to run, but bears are practically inescapable, and even boars are fast enough that you'll never get away from them unless you run and try to trap it behind obstacles. Your other option is to log out and wait for about half an hour or travel to hearth. If the animal is at your hearth, you're even more screwed.

How is it "lacking consequences" if you are basically forced to wait half an hour to escape an animal you never chose to attack in the first place? *facepalm*
