Its all a ruse. When everyone is asleep and no one expects it, you will suddenly release Hafen in the dead of the night.

I agree so all nighter?

1. Game server for Hafen will be up in 15-20 hours approximately?
2. The link for downloading the game will be shared somewhere here on this forum and/or site homepage?
3. There is no way to start the game conveniently close to a friend, we will have to look for each other later ingame?

From that interview they did a while back it sounded like the whole purpose of the new system was to sidestep the grind. It seemed like the idea was for there to be a ton of factors in the more advanced achievements that are so obtuse that the users will never figure them out, so that there's really no point in them grinding for them, they'll just happen as a surprise eventually as they're playing, or not. So simple things like the log cutting achievement, everyone might get. But for another you might have to catch a specific fish beside a stage four elm tree from the shallows of a lake under a half-full moon with bunny slippers on and thirteen pieces of silver nugget in your inventory at 15-20% hungry. That's the kind of vibe I got from the article. But presumably with more difficult terms for the achievement, so that people don't start laboriously figuring out every single condition they met at the time they got the notification and replicating them, then writing bots to replicate them to create even more super super-alts that no one outside the know can hope to ever replicate
