Crunching pretty hard, but on track for the 21st.

Not sure if this was asked earlier in this thread (70+ pages of excitement 2much5me) but will claiming still be a thing and if so in what way will it be implemented, will claim have decay (please) or some sort of economy/lp sink to keep them active?

As a possible solution, perhaps you can make a Beacon ability with crafting, LP, and materials? Something that takes some kind of investment; 1x Stick, 1x Beautiful Dream, 1x String, 1,500 lp, One time per character (Item disappears when you're within x spaces of target) and it allows you to track like the criminal elements, but to find your Party member?

Not as much of a gimme as hearth spawning, as you still have to travel to them, and in most cases, you'll have to buy boat building and other skills, but it could be a help.

I can see how a mechanic as such could be abused, for instance build a macro that moves direction of the pie slice, but it would be another layer of abstraction, without being a totally noob-unfriendly solution.

I'm going to play either way, party finding or not, and I'll find some way to get everyone to me. That's half the beauty of being a wanderer.
Yes, I am a Wizard.

The whole Alt debate is just forcing restricted playstyles - if i'm not free to decide whether i want alts and even multiple accounts (i.e. gatekeeper, transport chars) the game wouldn't be for me anymore ( the freedom to decide was a main reason making me play) ... that simple ... funny enough that again abusers and exploiters are the ones that make fun miserable for the honest players by forcing the Devs into weird decisions ... very recreational to have just a mirrored RL ...

borka aren't you a supporter of bots/custom clients, that is a pretty hypocritical statement you are making.

Since when go bots, custom clients and alts for that matter, hand in hand.

When you're talking about how annoyed you are that the alt "abusers and exploiters" have forced the developers to change aspects of the game in a way that you dislike, you can't just forego the fact that botting and custom clients have done the exact same thing to this game in a variety of ways.

Botting/scripting is not a legitimate style of play no matter how much you or borka or xcom want it to be.
