Yes it is, but not to unintended mechanics/bugs.

I do agree the bug rams, and the impenetrable vaults are gamebreaking, in the meantime just make impenetrable vaults too, or make island vaults. It's not like there isn't any way around it.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

The only impenetrable vaults are island vaults. I think we're going to run out of islands.

i think W7 would bring more folks back in the game, since w6 is full of huuuuuge ghost claims hold by killer alts. I have few around my camp at north south east and in the west. i bet there is bout 500k~ ish lp / claim ( chedk this with my own range on my claim ).

heh theres really skinly space to fix up a fresh camp , and like my self i dont want to play a game that has been played for you ( to join a huge camp ).

Though our current place is kind a neat now when the lag is gone Finally ! i can contact my old buds and re-start our camp.

but i truly think W7 would bring more popularity to the game , inspiration due fresh start / no ghost claims ( truly annoying ) / no 1 zillion killer alt in the game already / and list goes on really far..

If it's actually a ghost claim then just declaim it. If it's an abandoned village claim then just break it.

so if i find a claim that has no activity i have some way to actually destroy it / same for village claims which has no activity at all.

There are some claims that are so massive you won't be able to reasonably break it until you've had a fair bit of time to develop your character. Otherwise yes, the world is mutable still. The catch is that if a p claim or v claim is still active then you're going to have a very angry owner that is probably willing to put up a fight over it.

For V claims, if no members have been active then it runs out of authority and you can commit crimes there without leaving scents as well as break authority objects, including the village claim itself. If a village claim is entirely abandoned and you have Law Speaking then you can just become the new owner of the v claim too.

For p/claims, isn't the only way to declaim it, is by having your own v/claim touching the p/claim and with enough authority to declaim the p/claim?
Thats my understanding anyway, which means its not that simple to get rid of them, you can't just destroy them and they are all over the world.
Correct me if i've got it wrong.

yep Amanda that's right - one problem is that a decent pclaim easily can need 1.5 mio auth to declaim - there are enough that need 5 mio or more...not to forget that declaim sucks down your auth - declaimed a 600K one last week (7 month inactive - all the time monitored) and *oops* auth was very low afterwards (don't worry was back in 2 days later)
