This, or they are behind a massive brick wall so you can't see inside the base.

Boating around today me and my friend found 2 newbies online, a seperate newbie online and a few bases that looked active who had nobody online.

Nice sounds like you could have had a lot of fun :p. Unless they were just that noob, then theres no fun in killing them. I feel like its a mix of my luck just sucks, and my corner of the world is extra dead. I cant even find a piece of plowed land. I feel like theres a lot more people towards the middle of the map.

There are dead zones where some kind of server error wiped everything. Those places stayed dead for so long it felt like some kind I started expecting to get rushed by zombies.

the "release date of the release date" will be the day the release date is being released, and the release date will be the day of the release date.
