It can be "fixed" in several different ways. If you have preferences, feel free to share them.

It doesn't need fixed Jorb ;-;

If you want to remove movement combat, at least make it more plausible for lower stat players to beat higher stat players in standstill combat (which it's not right now)

My only purpose in life is to be good at fighting and I don't want it to go to waste.

Agreed with Ninijutsu. I can't combat stronger people without movement combat.

You already have a few tools to beat slightly (but just slightly) stronger characters, for example by knocking four times and then using your weapon (for example valor strike does quite reasonable damage if your opponent has low armor and you have enough STR)

in case you missed it:

a "moving" hit deals damage as if there were no defense bar, but does not actually deplete the def bar.

simply put, getting clipped on a sign or a tree or whatever shouldn't be a death sentence. especially if you've spent weeks or months building your combat character.

noobs/little guys can find other ways to defend or prevent themselves from getting ganked by stronger characters, but the current setup in movement combat only serves to make fighting with throwaway alts easier

remove the penalty or Severly lower the penalty of getting hit while moving(what's being argued over for the last half hour)

then get better stats, learn the nuances of the combat system.

One time in brodgar I beat some 700 ua fully geared korean with my 300 ua bearcaper. I just don't want that to turn into a "oh the korean wins JUST BECAUSE HIS STATS ARE HIGHER"

This attitude has led to the game turning into what it is now. People think it gives skilled spam clickers a stage to perform and show off. Paired with the fact that the curiosity system removed perma death from HnH this turned from a simulation with death as means of punishment with actual consequences into some show off fest for wannabe heros as avu stated.

There is so many better games for people like you. I mean some folks actually try to argue how unique and cool the combat system here is, but it really ins't. The only thing this has going for it is the adrenaline, but that it will still keep in a combat system that is based on economical and political power (and invested playing time) of those participating.

I mean ok for gods sake keep a tactical element, but remove reaction time based combat from this game. I always wondered what HnH as a turn based game would be like, should be pretty cool imo.

so if Mike Tyson fights a baby, if Mike Tyson makes a little mistake the baby should have a chance of winning? it honestly makes no sense to have your defenses completely taken away because you moved...

He said good at fighting, not unbeatable.
Don't you get it? Some people enjoy killing stronger people. If you like grinding UA like crazy and (when movement cmb is removed) killing anyone you see with no effort or competition...
Damn.
