World resets aren't about players, they're about features. We had nukes before and worlds didn't get reset.
And the new world is *not* six months after Salem, AFAIK (and I think I know a bit more than you) it should happen sooner than that.

Well hey, if it is right around the corner, maybe just leave the servers down till the update is good to go then.

You're all for not playing your character in its current state, aren't you? I, like you, and just finishing a mining hole after having gotten some livestock. The LAST thing I want to happen is a reset. I can't seem to figure out why you're so dead set on not reaping the rewards you've worked so hard to get.

Oh no, what I am saying is if some people have lost what they had (Map, char's I think were said to be fine), progress, then let everyone lose it. I am all for logging in and the world being the same as it was yesterday... I just want that for EVERYONE, not just myself.

Hard Drive went bad, some parts remain, but maybe not all the map
