well his voiceover seems decent enough, which is more than you can say for most on youtube

Don't get me wrong, i LOVE his voice. lol i told my wife his voice makes me mellow and sleepy, like weed. lol

I suppose it is time to get out my stockpile of wheat seeds and carrots then.

Number of horses tamed.

Or number of creamy cocks consumed!?..... :D
I fully look forward to jorb and loftar fixing several mechanics and bringing back updates, because at that time you chuckleheads are going to be more marginalized than lawn furniture in winter.

Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!

Its actually determined by the number of penis lakes divided by the number of non-penis lakes that your character has seen. Stupid divide by 0 errors!

Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

jorb or loftar if you happen to read this i would like to ask how we are meant to go about getting a beta key, so far it has been unclear wether we should be sending you a application or just wait for key handouts. I'm sure your probably getting hundreds of applications already because they, same as me are not sure how to go about this.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Official Salem Beta Thread

Hi Everyone! First we'd like to say we're very humbled to already see so much passionate interest for the Beta Testing of Salem. So, to make life a little less "up in the Air" we'd like to clarify the Beta (and Alpha) Testing dates we are working hard to deliver on.

  • Alpha Testing (Currently the game is in Pre-Alpha and we'll need an elite handful of players with proven experience in similar kinds of MMORPG's to start this with us) - This will begin as soon as we reach Alpha which is trending towards the end of September. It'll begin with a very small hand picked group and then grow to size(s) that make sense for testing and participation.
  • Beta Testing (This will be open to a much larger group with all those that were in Alpha Testing being grandfathered in and Haven & Hearth and Dreamlords: Resurrection players given priority) - This will start around the beginning of 2012 or when Alpha development is done and the game is ready for Beta Testing.
  • Open Beta (This will be as it sounds, open to everyone by registering) This will happen once the game is in a state to handle a much larger player base.
Keep in mind these dates & schedules are not written in stone, and flexibility with test management and Developments needs will always come first, even if it's not the popular choice amongst the public, or internally. We will however, always communicate openly and honestly with our community to keep a mutually respectable line of communication we can all trust and count on.

This post will be updated when things change and hopefully helps clear things up. If no, feel free to post a question and we'll do our best to answer.

Cheers,

GvD

This doesnt answer wether we should be asking for a key or just wait for a post about this because it would suck to miss out on a key because you were waiting for jorb or loftar to give a forum post about giving out keys.

Does it say anywhere in that text that you're supposed to send applications to jorb? No? What do you think that means?
