If anything, bothering the devs will decrease your chances.

Question: Will Alpha be handled by an application process, or does Paradox intend to invite interested and active individuals from the community?

Initially we'll invite individuals from the community. -GvD Producer

Looks to be no point in badgering anyone.

Yep, cause that's the type of people they are. However, showing up at their door with a case of booze might get you a better chance.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

That does sound interesting...

What I'm wondering is, how free to play will it be? Like, will it be true F2P like Haven is? Or will it be like Runescape, where whoever actually pays gets better weapons and items, essentially making the game a lot easier for them?

“The economy will be based around a store owned by the "game" that players can trade and purchase items from, " explained Björn Johannessen, Creative Director. "When trading you'll receive silver based on the value of the resource traded. With this silver you can then buy inaccessible resources or ones you don't want to spend time gathering. The store will also offer the option to buy silver with real world currency. It's key for us that all items will be purchasable with the in-game silver only, so all players, whether playing for free or not, can buy any item for sale."

The game is entirely free but you can pour money into the game instead of time and resources to acquire goods from the market. You get nothing that others players can't get through playing the game.

I have read about the economy system.
But i got one question that i can't figure out.
Will the items on the market have to be sold by someone else?
Or is there just an endless amount of every resource?

Hoping mostly for the first senario.( the secound one doesn't sound much like the devs' style)
