You require additional int.

No, you know what, getting that LP from that statue was my absolute limit. I don't care if the game starts shitting candy and rainbows after the 40 hour mark, fact of the matter is, it sucks now, the game in its current state offends me as both a player and as a would-be developer, and I'm not willing to stick around doing sweet fuck all on the off chance that it might at some undetermined point in the future get better. At this rate, in the time it would take me to get a character I could enjoy playing, I could make my own fucking game. Hey Jorb! You're enjoying yourself? That's because you're one of the developers. The game could punch you in the balls repeatedly and you'd still enjoy playing it because you'd get that feeling of accomplishment that comes from creation.

The amusing thing is, I'm pretty sure that the bots will still have the advantage, because they'll be able to maximize curiosity LP output.

But, hey, since I disagree with these changes, clearly nothing of value is lost in my departure. Oh well, it was a fun month and a half while it lasted.

Call me if things change.

Don't count on it.

Yes yes. We saw your first message already. Flutter away and, as always, have a wonderful day.

Having fun, and loving the new changes, as most people are. This is a good change, Jorb/Loftar.

Question, what's with this "Server shutting down" stuff? Just more patching and fixing?

Uhm... No. I'm rather enjoying this system, it's one of the more interesting forms of advancement I've seen. It deliberately enforces a gradual climb to power, and that is a GOOD thing. You don't like it, because it isn't your play style. I would take from your statements that you're one who enjoys the 'level' system of many MMO's because it gives you the ding-flash-shiney you get every time you level, and pats you on the back every time you murder a defenseless rat.

But, hey, since I disagree with these changes, clearly nothing of value is lost in my departure.

Truer words were never spoken.

You are extrapolating quite a lot there. Could be that he just liked H&H with the unique system it had before, and he doesn't like these changes. He said it in a rude way, I agree with that, but I don't totally disagree with his underlying sentiment.
