Just please.. please buff marksmanship. 500 mm and a q176 ranger's bow just ain't got the same pvp power as uac/melee. Hell, even if you guys add line-of-sight to it, and make arrows collide with objects (like boulders and trees), I'd welcome marksmanship being useful. I like being an archer, but b12 dudes know the score with my kind :-/

I killed many Dhelms as an Archer,
it's all about patience and seeing
opportunities. The more clever you
can get with the system the more
opportunities appear.

One time i downed a man who was
standing outside a friend's village
along with 10+ heavily armored and
geared crackas with B12s. One shot
at the right time is all it takes

Also i would love a child mechanic.
Then the merchants could actually
charge us our firstborn... and we
really could rape and slaughter all
the men women and children in a
village before burning it!

Yea, I remember when you shot down one of our guys, was there :D . The bows were ok in early world, but now they are completely useless unless you have botted yourself 2000+ perception.

You're probably right, ranged weapons don't scale
properly to be a decent weapon past early or mid
game. Still would be chances later on, but probly
really few and far between.

I have faith in our god Loftorb Jorbtar that there
will be a greater strength to be had in Ranged
weapons later on, so i pray. <3

There should be more ranged weaponry that is meant to immobilize (even just for a short time) rather than deal damage.

Example: Those things you whip around in the air really fast and throw at someone's legs to trip them up.

At least this way you can add factors to the battle that make it less dependent on who has the most water (or whatever method of regaining stamina you choose, if any) and other dumb bullshit "movement combat" tactics.

But also such an implementation may indeed lengthen the chase if the person being chased is attempting to immobilize someone while running away and not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing, but anyone could do it so I don't know.

They are called Bolas

Also, Make a Dragon Bow, It's like the ranger bow, but requires silver, and does even more crazy damage than a ranger bow, and takes even longer than a ranger bow.
Or add crossbows.

What possible purpose does that serve? No, I actually helped people get into the game and taught them how to play. Got them set up with basic equipment and introduced them to the other people in my community.

I used Charter Stones in the way I imagined they were intended. To build up the game and get new people interested. I've never been a warmonger, I'm part of the 'carebear' crowd. I just make sure to have heavy fighters on hand to solve the problems that crop up when the raiders come.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.
