Is there a reason we're waiting for hammers to be weapons? with the recent C&I thread I think it's a big punch in the face that they're just for breaking shit.

Iforgot, another big thing to note:

Arrow hunting will be okay but, arrows are severely stopping everything?

Can you take off the limit (or make it way more awesome) for STONE arrows but keep the damage low? Maybe even 0?

That'd be nice, yeah. :v

That was some pretty annoying trolling to read.

lolirl

Anyhow... This sling change kinda sucks, but I agree entirely that it was stupid that we could just ride by on a boat and kill anything in a hit or two (anyone with a good sling, anyway). It clearly rendered the combat system worthless. I've tried unarmed combat out before and killed foxes. I'm guessing I could maybe try boars, but it seems like anything else would be impossible if you aren't abusing the game (fencing animals to at least isolate aurochsen/mouflon) or unless you have ridiculously high stats.
I'm trying a (wood) bow for the first time. I grabbed some nearby q70 plant fibres and grabbed two branches from a tree to create a q47 bow. After wasting time making some stone arrows, I see that this speed is really brutal. After I run out of arrows, I'm just gonna sling these aurochsen down even if it does deal way less damage. This is just really not worthwhile. I consider myself to be a fairly established/mediocre-decent character with 80 marksmanship... now it would take several more weeks for a newbie to even catch up to me, and even then it wouldn't be enough to make hunting worthwhile at all. The bow needs some serious upgrade to be a viable method of hunting.

This thread is getting spammed to hell with insults and horrible unconstructive criticism.

I suggest changing the current wooden bow to hunting bow that deals extra damage to animals and is easier to aim.
Then add crossbows or longbows that can actually do something agaisnt heavily armored people.

I loved the agility idea, however I think the armor debuff should work on % because there are stat gods that arent gonna notice a diference. Actually how does the debuff work?

One question jorb, why the restrictions on cave building? What could be abused if I had the possibility to pave and build near a cave wall?

Why did you add new SGs btw? The world was already much too big. We need more people complaining about the lack of metal, not less. So that at least some trading will get done. We also need more drama because of densely populated areas, not less.
