So there, please try again now and tell me what you think. I have adjusted the conversion ratio for LP-to-authority, and decreased the drain from extra authority objects.
The numbers, to be precise, are that the idol itself drains 5000 authority each in-game day, a banner drains 250 and a statue drains 350. The idol gives an authority cap of 250000; a banner adds 13000 to that, and a statue adds 20000. LP now converts to authority on a 1:1 ratio when your character has 10 intelligence and 10 charisma (again, learning bonus is not counted, however).
What that means, is that in a real day, a village with only an idol will drain 15000 authority (and therefore be go from full to the required 50000 minimum authority in about 2 real weeks). Five complete noobs (having 10 in intelligence and charisma) will keep the upkeep by getting 3000 LP each real day. I imagine most of the people who found villages have far more intelligence and charisma than that, though. It may still be a bit harsh, though; I don't know yet (it doesn't look very harsh from some statistics that I've looked at, though). Please tell me your experiences.
The amount of authority cap additions from banners and statues means that the more of them you have, the longer your village will last from "fully charged" to 50000 authority while noone is active.
