Am I the only person having this problem? It seems I can only request items that have quality as a property and nothing else. This is really inconvenient for coins.

Add to list:
Farm hats (assume all hats, didn't check other clothing or leather goods)
Fox wurst & lamb sausages (assuming all sausages)
Perched Perch (assuming all seafood)

I thought i could use it to trade metals for food, maybe not... yet.

Also: Can't see how many purchased goods the stand contains and you have to keep left clicking each icon until nothing more comes out.

Also also: It should probably have a "reset/clear" button for asking price... would be nice.

Also also also: Reminder - No way of telling q of sale goods and no way to tell what q is being asked for to purchase

Question: Do purchased goods consume slots?

All of those (including the coins) are substances, which is why it doesn't work. Unfortunately, it would be quite hard to get it to work.

That should be visible via the tooltip. I know that it sucks that you can't see the amount of coins in the slots (the normal tooltips), but the quality should be plainly visible. I'll try to fix the special tooltips.

They actually don't.

Alright something that's bothering me, let's say I put a q260+ sling for sale in a Vending Stand, if I hover over it I can actually see that it's Q260, if I put it in a Barter Stand however, I don't get a tooltip, so I can't tell if I'm buying a q260+ sling or a q10 sling, this makes trading quality items impossible as the buyer has no idea what they're getting into, I've had to take down my sling shop, no buyers because they can't tell. :(

Also side note: Vending Stands don't show items on them like barter stands do?

Really? That sounds like a bug. I was sure that worked. I'll have to investigate.

No, I'd rather not touch the vending stand code ever again. I'd much rather delete them.

Barter stands could replace them, but they would have to become more versatile first.

Confirmed. Same thing here :(

Barter stands certainly have great potential imo, but they are more frustrating than they are worth atm.
