We certainly never did and never will listen to entitled crybabies. If your ambition is to "donate" under such circumstances that Haven has become your game, you can give it up now, before racking up even more frustration waiting for it.

You said something like this to me once. I think this is just your go-to excuse these days.

That said however I'd be more than happy to donate should some VISIBLE development begin again.

An excuse for what, Kaios? It's their creation and they can do whatever the fuck they want with it.

Bob dole thinks you don't get the point.
Even if they take 10 years to release haven 2 that's their right, and you should be grateful you get to play their game at all.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Please, if you know me by now you should know I do understand that. If you had read Nummy's post that loftar was responding to I don't think what he is saying is over the top or entitled in any way, I'd actually go as far to say that what he is saying is a fact. (regarding stubbornness, etc.)

There's absolutely no reason for loftar to respond like that so don't argue with me you guys or I WILL BRING OUT THE BIG GUNS!

After that I would think about giving them some money. For now it looks like they are doing nothing except playing with haven 2.0 which we don't even see what is going on...

The only thing I can think of as a proper response to this is a donation to Haven and Hearth, showing a faith in the developers (and an understanding of how this works) that you clearly lack.

Why would you donate when there's no visible development for months... If we got a least a monthly post about decent development I promise I'd donate at least 5 bucks, without as much as a monthly "hey we're doin stuff!" post, I dunno why anyone would donate towards development. I'm not whining or asking for the game to be "mine", I'm just saying why I haven't donated, since so many people think you can't rightfully state your opinion towards devs without donating.

Donating is just giving support without expecting anything in return - it's not paying for or buying or backing

Don't you think loftar and jorb are aware of other financial models i.e. like notch did with minecraft beta? And they just made their own experiences in Bizness...

Don't you think there's a reason that that Donate Button is at Bottom of page and thus not urging anyone?

They give us an alpha game to test and play, to report Bugs and exploits, even make suggestions and ask for nothing - a good way for them to keep their freedom in developing their own game the way they want ...

Sure i'd love to have regular posts about progress or ideas they are discussing but i do understand that it would just put them under extra pressure and only takes time ...

Donating is one way to pat them on the shoulder and showing respect

"i would ... if ..." is something kinda blackmailing in my understanding
