oh, yes, because having toons as pale zombies is very representative of the colonial era. in fact, I think they look worse, except for the clothing. at least the original toons looked healthy. and are you retarded if you think the pavement tiles in the streaming video are the same as those in the pictures.

clearly you are not being objective if you are unable to recognize the overall increase in quality of both the character models and their texturing. whether or not you like the style is irrelevant

do you understand what the word 'objective' means? maybe you should look it up

Due to recent events in my Haven and Hearth game play, I'm curious to see how Salem will go about implementing swimming and drowning.

I have a question that i hope will be brought up and answered in the next podcast . How will people who leave scents be able to defend themselves from being killed while offline if there are no walls to protect you like in haven.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Build on a mountain, far away from people. Or find some exploit in the game mechanics. Potentially making a wall out of buildings for example. (Though this would only provide a temporary protection, depending on how easily buildings are destroyed.)
In other words, from what I can tell, the whole point of that is to discourage your average person from attempting to do anything that would leave summonable scents. Only those who are willing to risk having their character killed while they are offline should be leaving scents.
