What was the cook time on that?

Somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour. I lost track of accurate time because I was cooking fried rice, but it was no more than an hour and no less than 30 minutes. It's aaaaaaaaaamazing.

LP are a means to an end. They are what stands between me and fun. I don't grind because grinding is fun. Nobody enjoys fucking grinding. They do it because it gets them something they can USE. Combat. Boats. Property. Houses. Farms. Grinding has been replaced by waiting. In either event, I can't do what I want to do because there are barriers in place. The only difference is that now I have no real control over how fast the barriers are broken down.

hi dipshit, check the regdate, i've been playing this game steady for almost a year and a half now. trust me, i know about grinding and i know goddamn well what LP is for.

sounds to me like you haven't figured out how to get over the hurdles. we are estimating that a q20 ant soldier will be worth about 1k at 360 learning.

I read this as: "I've been playing longer, so I know what I'm talking about and you don't. *Waggles epeen.*"

This game isn't terribly hard to learn about. Just because we don't agree with the new changes doesn't mean we don't understand them. We're not asking how we're supposed to make lots of LP, we're asking why the change was made in the first place. The answer should not be "because LP" was too easy to get. It wasn't. At least not early on. If that's the case, why weren't LP costs increased to compensate? If that's the case, then why don't they decrease the amount of LP you earn (instead of removing it completely) and put hard caps on skills, abilities, and attributes? It's not rocket surgery people (yes, I said it that way on purpose). There are two or three BETTER ways to fix the (apparently broken?) LP system.

This game went from interesting and fun, and giving me a reason to stay logged on to "Okay, I got all my discovery LP, let's grind cone cows, wishbones, and clay chariots and log off for the day, getting absolutely nothing done (mostly because, oh no! I don't have the LP for it!)).

I mean damn, if I had the know-how to run this game, I'd have been glad to do so and actually try to improve the game instead of wiping World 4 and nixing the LP system as it were completely.

So build shit in the mean time. I paved the outside ring of my island, since I'm going to palisade it once I've got yeomanry. It doesn't give LP, so get over it and just do what you would do anyways. I loved that last world I could get 40-50k lp for building my palisade, but I was going to do it anyways because I didn't want my shit jacked.

Use yo head, bru.

You need the 4k LP to do that first, "bru".

I never doubted your account age. I doubted your ability to comprehend the purposes and intentions of game mechanics. Probably should have been more clear about that.

OKay......I rescind what I said earlier today. It's making sense little by little, but some are right though....it's very time consuming. Though after a bit of tinkering and experimenting with the things around me I'm starting to get the gist of what is supposed to happen, and it makes sense to a point. Though it is harder to get things, it makes it more interesting on how to get those things to appear, but.....I'm still having difficulties under standing somethings. I'm not sure how I can explain it.

I got that getting my island set up. Also getting there. Sure, I've had to "wait" to claim my area, but I'd have been waiting anyways, so why not use my time wisely?

I mean, if you're upset you can't bucket grind/ dowsing rod grind/ dreamcatcher grind your way up to yeomanry within a couple hours, that's tough nuts. This is a much better early game.
