I'm not sure, but if the numbers add up, why does nearly every encounter or skirmish end up in someone being killed?

It does. They are over-exaggerating. It takes like 1000 strength and a q120+ sword to 1-shot someone with low-medium constitution.

Completely false. I stab for 2075 with a 100 sword and 475 strength. That's easily enough to go straight through any armor of the same quality and 1 shot the person. I hit someone last night who had 1800 armor class and he had like q180 everything. It should of 0'd off him imo.

ROFL. People have more than 100-200 HP. That's like 50 con.

I know, if they had 1400 armor class (which was common when i had my stuff made), it would kill anyone. I hit someone with 1800 AC. 1800. Someone who's armor was almost twice the quality of my sword for 275 with 475 strength. If you don't see the issue, i don't know what to say.

it does, at the end of w3 i had a 1v1 with oddity, and he won. i had more ua, melee and STR than he did, but he had the advantages of agility and armor quality over me. he was rocking sodom-quality steel plate and dhelm at that point. it was a really long fight but i remember several times breaking his def bar, stinging, and got the 0 "ping" over and over. maybe odd will remember the exact numbers but i certainly don't. most of our movements and attacks were identical and similarly timed. i contend that his superior armor quality was the primary thing that led to him winning there :)

e: it's tough to remember the numbers but i was einher'd which means i had well over 2k strength and sword was well over 100

I do see it as an issue, health and protection do not scale nearly as much as they should, I'm just saying that 1-shot is an overused term. 2-shot is more like it.

You have to hit higher shp dmg than their armor class. Raw damage is weaponquality*strength, squared, divided by 10, squared again.

If sting I think it's raw damage - AC
