I do see it as an issue, health and protection do not scale nearly as much as they should, I'm just saying that 1-shot is an overused term. 2-shot is more like it.

1 shot is really not an overused term. Unless you have like 1k health your probably boned if you get stung while moving by someone with decent strength and weapons.

IMO one hit stings arn't that big an issue, its just that most people take their armor off to spar and then get the illusion that if you can get a sting in you've won, when actually it would just ping off armor.

One hit stings in movement combat because somebody made a tiny slip up are an issue.

Strenght is much easier to raise than con muuuch, also you need a lot less material to make a weapon than you need to make a full set of similar quality armor.

If you're read what Jordan said you'd see he can 1-shot pro-armored people with a sting.
