Made a screenshot of this post in case I get killed with a fireball some time later.

In The Hobbit, Gandalf lights pine cones on fire and throws them at the wolves & goblins. ;)

Speaking of non in your face magic, wouldn't a hex to gradually reduce the durability of a wall be cool? You could have something similar to the ranging skill, to see hexed objects
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Is there a functional client for Hafen that we can road-test for basic launchability before the game goes live? I know we won't be able to test server connection and such, but it'd be great to get all the Java set-up noise out of the way, provided that's going to be an issue.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

I guess the Salem client is the closest you can get.

Agreed. Please do a stress test or something before release, jorbtar.

Loftar, theres one thing that is completely necessary to add to hafen...

Right click wring neck on knocked out players :D

It could have a 5 second timer or so to make it not op. I've just always wanted to wring a noobs neck. One would think that it would be easy to add.

I don't care about anything else as long as the retarded wall railings are fixed.
