Game Development: Nothing Major

Postby jorb » Thu Jul 30, 2009 5:43 am

I'm working on drawing creatures, Loftar is doing pathfinding. We've added some new plants, you'll find them growing around the inn.

Oh, and I fixed the palisades -- please confirm.

Edit: Oh, and we've gotten ~200 new registrants tonight. Welcome 4chan.

"I've been unsuccessful at trying figuring out how to get wool off a sheep with a stone ax. At least I think it's a sheep, it could be a snow ape, hard to tell at night.

Also, "I've just picked up a fucking cow egg. HOW CAN COW MAKE EGG?"

Hope they aren't more snow apes.

What do you mean by "fixed the palisades"?

Also, the new plants aren't done growing. QQ

I can't login considering that the connections have been refused on the game client.

Anything to do with your update?

I will steal all of the RuneStones in the land, if your stone has gone missing in the night then I'm already hauling it.

They had a bit of a bug with their center coordinate causing them to interact poorly with other wall types.

Oh, by the way; this update also contains a few code cleanups that I made while I was away. Since I couldn't run the client while doing it, they are more or less (but not completely) untested, and they might have far-reaching consequences, so I just thought I'd put an advance warning for crashes in the immediate future.

I don't think it should be anything major, but you might want to delay the building of your new fortress a few hours.
