Well, we might have different ideas on what a dead game is then. Maintaining servers =/= development in my mind... And if there is no development, the game is dead. The presence of people on the server matters not imo... Its the devs that do.
There are justifications for keeping H&H online, and just not developing it. People DO still play the game. They still have fun too, despite the issues. Not to mention, the amount of people who are willing to jump from H&H into Salem to beta test, is something only a fool would waste. J&L are many things, but clearly not fools.
