how does it work to find out wich matirial have wich quality ?
i see a river and need a skill to find out wich quality the warter have ?
i also need a skill for soilquality ?

No, you take a bucket to the river, and you see the quality of water in the bucket. You dig the soil and see the quality.

but what if I want to know the quality of the river without damaging it by removing water and stirring up the mud? Your method seems unscientific at best. I DEMAND SPECTOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS TOOLS!

Your 'scientific analysis' will be meaningless once I have dumped pure mercury into every river, lake and sea except my own personal watering hole. EVERYONE SHALL DIE OF NEGATIVE QUALITY WATER POISONING EXCEPT ME! MWAHAHA...
