This is a ridiculous fix - I had enough of a problem trying to expand my city symetrically before because you couldn't pave within 2 or 3 tiles of the river - it must be horrific right now.
I think the nuke-service would suffice. It takes alot of time and resources to build a hearth vault. With the knowledge it will eventually be autodestructo'd, for being aggressive or not, surely it'd be a waste of the player's time, for it?
Even if they made it, aggro'd, and couldn't be struck back by the victim or his hired retinue due to the vault, the Nuke-Service would still blow them to pieces...
Silly "Bugfix" is silly. I wonder if you won't be able to build near cliffs in the future, so people can't hop over at you?
