Game Development: Status Effects

Postby jorb » Sat Sep 12, 2009 6:42 am

We've been developing tonight, and here's what's new.

We've implemented status effects, quite simply.

1) Walk in a forest without your shoes on, and you might get a thorn.
2) Eat a certain bulb, that grows in a certain dark place.
3) Snort some of ye olde Boar Tusk Snuff, and brace for Tuskalooza!

... this is merely the beginning!

That is all. Enjoy.

Tuskalooza? That sounds risky...

Also, yay for certain bulbs actually doing something now!

Drugs?
In my Haven and Hearth?

Do I still get a thorn if I'm wearing bunny slippers?

100? That's a lot more than they should be dealing. Are you sure? Also, put on some shoes. :)

Bunny slippers will do fine.
