The problem with the suggestion of W7 because of this is that there is no feature, no development, no bug fixes, no reasons to start a new world. The world doesn't really help newer players when it's almost a year in like it is now, but that's just how it is. It is still possible to get somewhere, after learning the basics, finding an established village which will take you in and whatnot. Basically, there are still ways to make it right now. This game isn't for the feint hearted, I know you don't want to hear "suck it up", but there are ways to deal with your problems.

One of the key things you're missing here is the possibility of immersion in community. You claim this is the way haven and hearth works when for most, it really isn't. You are forcing this as "the way haven and hearth works", when in reality this is just one possibility for how it works, you're painting a specific section of the picture but not the entire thing. You can get with others, you can find villages, you can find out tips and tricks from all the resources that are laid out on the forums and wiki, you're taking the harder route by not doing this, and are further unsatisfied because of that. The game itself is never friendly towards newer players, late game it becomes much more prevalent, but it is never at a point where it is helping you out. Community made resources were made because of this.
Also you've brought up nothing new to the table for how people view this so don't get your hopes up this will cause W7 to commence, tough love just like everything else in the game.
