I'm EST time, will it be back on within say 3pm to 6pm? I need to finish my palisade!

That's FM (Freaking Magic).

Actually, think of a USB connection (that's not what it really is) and power connection on the back of a card. The card had a hard drive mounted on it. The card fits in a card slot of a bay of slots (anywhere from 2 slots to over 100 in the bay). The bay is connected to the server/computer. The connection can be a single drive connection, USB, Fire-wire, ESATA, Ethernet, or even fiber-optic depending on the throughput desired.

loftar wrote:It shouldn't necessarily need to take more than five minutes, but I guess it depends on how long Hetzner needs to do the physical replacement and whether any unexpected problems turn up afterwards.

Screw your palisade,

So I see the site is back up, is there an ETA on the server being back up?

I'm guessing a few hours. If they have to copy the data like last night, about 6 hours. If not, maybe "Could take less than 5mniutes" giver-take time to replace the drive, and anything else.

I'm going to wait with starting the game server until the RAID resync is complete. Currently, the system estimates that to take 526 minutes.
