I would assume it's incorrect, it looks a little off to me from time to time.

There are 294 hearthlings playing.

Of these, there are 72 from Russian Federation, 53 from United States, 33 from Poland, 27 from Ukraine, and 26 from Korea.

72+53+33+27+26=211

...only top 5 countries are shown. thought everyone knew that already.

I'd call it common knowledge for anyone that's been around for a while, but it's not anywhere obvious for new players to find.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I still seem to have a lot of lag. However, I also seem to be lagging out less often than I used to. The problem with the thought that this might be due to changes, is that I used to lag out more often when playing in the company of others, and now that I am a hermit the not-lagging-out may just be due to being in quieter places.

One thing I've noticed is that I tend to get a lag spike when there's a change in the day/night scale (can't think of a better way to word that). Any chance you could abolish the dawn/dusk gradient and see if that helps anything??

I think the lag also depends on how far away you live from the server. I have almost no lag right now.

while that can be a reasonable explanation for difference in lags on the order of 100's of ms, frequent 'lag' spikes of several seconds are very rarely caused by the transport networks (never when the telecom company has any credibility left  ).

... Really! ...
Your location: Unkown.
Online User-count at moment "right now": Unkown.
Playing duration of test: Unkown.
Type of lag in question (see Doness post): Unkown
Math: Unkown by Unkown by Unkown by Unkown = ... Erm, right. Good for you? ...

---

Loftar is playing with the minimap on/off switches. Thats all.
(Use Ender client. It has bare, but auto generated minimap feature. In case the server is not sending those other ones.)
