It doesn't seem all that random to me. Using same equipment at the same location and at the same time of day always gives me same fish. I've just caught 10 breams in a row fishing like this. If anything, it's not random enough.

As for FEPs, I think you get more FEP per hour farming than you do fishing.

Well. It's actually not very random at all. Let's call my concern 1) Too unpredictable, rather than random.

I would like to know that too. They were located only in the RoB (and then someone got all the seeds) or they can be found in the wild too?

I dropped a few off to people at the RoB. Trade for them.

Re fishing: So, hooks aren't built/made with the fly's, you have to add them as well - make mental notes

- I took 2 branches and made a fishing pole - pass
- I took a plant fibre and right clicked it on the fishing pole in my inventory and it added line - pass
- I took a stump and a feather and made a feather fly - pass
- I right clicked the feather fly on the fishing pole with line and it consumed the feather fly, but nothing changed on the fishing pole (visually or description) - fail
- I made another feather fly and tried right clicking on pole with line again, but it would not consume it this time as if already done (which it was) - fail
- Ah, I suppose I needed a hook as well for the fly, so took 1 bone and made a hook - pass
- Right click bone on same fishing pole in inventory and hook added - pass
- Try fish - success - pass

Question (even though there are already 2 hook types) - Should each fly not have ingredients to include its hook? It will help a bit with inventory management as well.

There are 3 hook types, not two.

Lures are dependant on Dexterity and something else that I have yet to pinpoint.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.
