This is too good an idea to actually happen.

What would get solved by that? Nothing as you just would make 100 throw away email accounts if you wanted 100 HnH accounts...also why do some people always want to restrict the playstyle of others? Without Alts Hermitting would get much more than annoying not to say impossible and it wouldn't exclude botting...

why make us remember heaps of e-mails too?

if you want to restrict accounts, then do it by IP, only 5 accounts at a time per ip or something.

Erm ... now, you see, that is a very weak reason.
- Use the same password on all accounts. (Needles to say of course that this it the worst option.)
- Use some password tool like Keepass. (No need to remember more than one password. Now you also can use nice secure passwords. And to boot, you can generally also use those tools to do the login for you.)
- Use a client that stores your logins, like Union client.
Last two option will of course become less useful the larger your user account collection becomes. But that was not the problem, remembering passwords was, Right ?

We have absolutely no reason not to provide someone a ban if they ask us for one. Usually we just add a note to the ban saying that it was by request and can be revoked upon request as well.
