They should limit the potential advantages of using custom clients by putting more shit server-side (like not sending the client anything that should be "in the dark" so nightvision doesn't work). But it's impossible to prevent client-side modifications.

Looks amazing, I can picture foggy fields and dark haunted forests with this art style, as well as enchanted meadows.
