hmm went for a walk today... suddenly I this image from what we know of something a hermit could do. Build a road to help people pass threw (port across part of there land), have hidden catches around the area that are hidden using the new hidden living spots, and build a place normally in a safer location close by. While placeing some barter stands to take advantage of people suing your road... Ya go day dreaming.

Barterstands are probably still a pipedream for now. Without some way to automatically protect them, there's no way to sell items from them without it being instantly robbed.
