I don't think we'd bother announcing it broadly if it were invite only. ;)

Don't you think it would be amusing to see us all scramble and beg for invites? :)

Trust me, in the Inner Circle group we begged them quite thoroughly for an Inner Circle "Exclusive Alpha" but they wouldn't cave..... Considering how little I think we added to the Salem alpha I can't say i blame them.....

I have certainly noticed some routers acting strangely to the game, but without having access to one for testing, it's a fair bit difficult to tell what the actual problem is.

This is the old thread I was talking about. Back then german Telekom routers seemed to be a problem.

Weird QoS or something some other "feature" that could possibly be turned off?

i had some ppl with troubling routers checking lots of things by PM advice (even Firmware updates and asking the technical helpline of ISP) - nothing worked. Only solution that did was swap to a different router (AVM Fritzbox) ... interesting enough some of the troubling routers where manufactured by AVM but had ISPs firmware that couldn't be changd to ones that AVM offered for the same ISPunbranded hardware ...
