You can, though. It clearly says "Male" or "Female" in the info screen.

And yes, the calfs can feed remotely from the cows. :)

Apparently cows can have multiple babies.

Which is bad news this early, as a cow can only provide for one of them.
Now I need to pick who lives and who dies, I guess...

Edit: Well wait. I guess this depends on whether the cow feeding update included their babies or not. I guess we'll see after enough time...

D'awwwww....look at the little baby!

Anyways, are the mods EITHER -2 OR +5, or -2 THROUGH +5? My new calf had several stats adjust at either -2 or +5, but milk qty was +1...

That doesn't feel possible or even realistic. No matter how badass you are, how do you expect to wrestle TWO one-ton mammoths of cow-ancestors at the same time?

How about two small icons in the INFO screen of a cow, on pregnancy/lactating status?

Question on calves, that I believe have been answered elsewhere:
Can calves telefeed through fences just as other livestock do?

EDIT: switched the order of the suggestion and the question, as I read the thread (two pages before this) where Loftar states that calves can telefeed. I still think it is important to find pregnant/lactating status somewhere!
