I have 10 minutes of internet while I am stopping over at my parents on the way to the Christmas party and I spent it reading this thread.

I agree that tying domestication into the combat system, which you devs plan on changing drastically seems like it will make it harder for you to change the combat system.

I'm also happy to see animal domestication implemented and totally dig that it would have been fun for you guys.

Please do quests next!

Has anyone seen sheep mating? How long does it take until they get it on?

Would it be possible to indicate on the animal's info screen if they are pregnant and how long they have been pregnant for? Maybe an icon to show that they're lactating would be useful too.

Random id say, took like 5minutes. Theres no way to tell if its pregnant.

I just took a sheep to a neighbour who owns a ram. It took like 10 minutes, and we've been using the leashes to manoeuvre them close together.

That's your problem. Best bet is just to put them in a very small pen.

Question, how do I make a rope to catch sheep if I need sheep to make a rope?

I'm pretty sure you can use plant fibers too.
