unless J&L plan to change the base quality to something else, yeah, its the same formula.

well it's the average of your survival skill and 10, not half your survival skill + 5. even though the output is the same, the way the input is phrased is important because this is one of the basics of understanding the q system.

Not really. Averages are averages and 10 is pretty fuckin arbitrary. I'd say this formula is pretty out of character for the Ql system.

q105 queen gave me 3or4 fep for each of 3 different stats. pretty worthless.

How is it meaningless, I enjoy the sidetracking snacks I nibble on while hunting. I mean the soldiers only give me about half a percent for strength, but really is 100 soldier ants really that hard to grab on your way hunting animals? No.. not really.

I enjoy this update thoroughly and it allows the younguns to balance their stats more efficiently ^^
