Game Development: More Newb Stuff

Postby jorb » Sat Jan 16, 2010 8:22 am

We've been developing tonight, and here's what's new.

New Object, Spruce Bough Bed: Gather boughs from fir trees and build yourself a nice little bed.

New Object, Leanto: Build a leanto. Put objects in the leanto. If you put a spruce bough bed in the leanto, you can sleep in it. Player's will leave theft scents if they try to take objects from the lean-to if someone is sleeping in it.

New Hat: Sprucecap, increases stealth.

New Herb: Blueberries, easy to discover. Chantrelles have been made slightly harder to find.

New bakable: Blueberry pie.

Also, milk quality should now work as intended.

hummm...seems a few nice things. I applaud for a change... 8-)

And a new bakeable...nice. Though I so wih blueberrys could be a crop, would love a new crop to grind.

Only complaint, chantrelles, as there is no other decent dex food. Just tedious chicken cha sing. We could use a decent alternative dex food imho

Well, i'm not playing much these days (i've got some exams to do on the next weeks) but i like to see new items implemented, especially bakable ones.

We peaked at 98 from that I saw. It might even have gone higher. We have never had this many users outside of a recruitment drive before. Pretty cool. We're still working on combat as our main thing. We got some work done on archery tonight.

Fuck. I'll throw in a little preview.

^^^^^^^^ Pure, undiluted, awesome. ^^^^^^^^

And we switched the servers tonight. That's nice. The old hard drive was showing symptoms of disease.
