The roosters can fight (one step up from ants), and can only be picked up when in fleeing mode. They do not have character sheets, only a simple quality rating. Maybe a naming option. In the wild, a rooster guards a brood of chickens, and some chicks. You can probably clip the wings on roosters to stop them from fighting, once picked up. The coop transforms seed, via chickens, into chicks (assuming you have a rooster) and eggs. A chicken must brood the eggs for them to hatch.
