The idea behind WWW isn't bad, it's a "this could be anything!" seed, and that can be useful. Unfortunetly the problem is that it's the only way to get what you need, and it's either slightly localised so that doesn't make it a truely "anything" seed... or is so randomised (read: truely random) the chances of getting what you want are perminately set at some pathetic 1-in-x, where x is the total number of plant seeds.
If a single plant of whatever type was able to be found in appropriate terrain like tap roots or chantrelles are in forests (ex; a lone poppy plant would appear in barrens) as had been suggested many times along with a "no 0% chance on anything" WWW, this problem and the situations it creates would be easilly prevented/solved.
The Dwarf is making a plaintive gesture. He doesn't really care about anything any more.
