hmm It seams you can not build your hearthfire inside anymore i belive?
and since you cant move your hearthfire to place it inside either anymore,
then a cabin would be quite wortless for that purpus nowdays.

Right-click -> Move
Left click target.
When in position, right-click "Use".

I've built my hearth in a timber house, no problem. You only can't build it in cellars, just like cupboards etc.

It's funny that the wood blocks now equal 5 branches, when they are the same as 3 branches when cooking and kilning.

well we'll try it again but that option did not seem to come up. when i selected move, i got a lift cursor. then i clicked on a section of pallisade. iirc right clicking on the ram made the cursor change back to normal, and i never saw any other options come up. also we ended up clicking on the section of pallisade so much that the ram broke.

wood block: 5 branches (split) = 3 branches (as fuel) = 2x 2 branches (charcoal)

nice to know...
