also I'm kind of curious what time period h&h is supposed to be set in, because tobacco is an american plant.

Ground rule is that we only add plants that have a history of some form in northern Europe. You will notice exceptions have been made for silk/mulberries, tea, tobacco and pumpkins. Tea because we both drink it in copious amounts constantly. Tobacco because Gandalf is cool. Silk because it was fun. Pumpkins because it was Halloween. We will not add coffee, sugar cane or potatoes. Though various kinds of beets, including sugar beets, would be fine.

Just like to point out here that native tobacco (That is, natural tobacco that is not some bastardized hybrid bred for max addictiveness) that is not processed more than Dry -> crumble -> smoke is a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar different thing that the commercial sticks you buy for way too much.

And I want... erm... a... yeah... uhm... hemp? derivitive? I think it might be a product that I'd actually be able to trade for steel without having to bring a convoy with me to carry 8 chests of goods to trade.
If rules were meant to be broken we would have called them ribs instead.

Is that all the raeg I'll get this week? I'm not sure I'll be satisfied on my end-user anguish needs this way. ;)
