Too easy to disembark by mistake, specially with lag. Sometimes you just want to get close to land so the passenger can get in/out of the boat.

And whats the problem there if you can hop right back in? I havent been seeing a lot of lag myself soooo






ps. a while back i suggested disembarking as a rightclick. even that would still be better than keyboard+mouseclick.

Try it in shallow water. :) With swimming on, I think you can ctrl-left click yourself out of the boat in the middle of a river now. Given you left-click to move the boat, I assume there needed to be another option, otherwise the game would be making everyone take swimming lessons every-time they tried to move anywhere.
