I think Jorb has already drawn at least one larger building. If he's done with it, we'll probably throw it in soon.

Thread necro much?

And no, someone with full nature will get 2 filaments per cocoon, so 50 cocoons per silk cloth. Each moth pair lays 8-10 eggs, so with good luck in getting matched pairs, you can have 50+ cocoons after 2-3 mating cycles, which is about 40 hours from egg-worm-cocoon-moth. Not sure how long it takes moths to pair up and breed, but inside of a week you can have a whole mess of eggs.

also you only have to catch the first pair, just let the cocoons hatch into moths and you can breed those moths again for more eggs

Some obscurity on the temporality of silk production, sorry if this has been brought up earlier in this thread:

1) larvae die after 24 ingame hours of not being fed, right?

2) do moths eventually die if left in containers without mating partners, or can they be stored infinitely?
if they die, how long do they last?

3) how long can one store eggs in containers?

I could of course test this empirically, but I'd rather not loose the eggs/moths to tests, and I am a somewhat unreliable logger these days.

1) more or less yes. Its 2 12 hour ticks, however they can be at any stage of fedness
2) die, i believe its after a ingame day
3) Forever

Thanks, Rift - more or less what I expected, but great to have it confirmed
