We've been developing, and here's what's new.
Clay has been diversified into five different species of the same. Instead of generic clay there is now Acre Clay, Gray Clay, Bone Clay, Ball Clay and Cave Clay.
Ball Clay: Works exactly like the old clay did.
Acre Clay: Dig on dirt field close to a clay Q-field/point.
Gray Clay & Cave Clay can be found as herb-spawns. Gray clay can be found on shallow water anywhere, and cave clay can be found in shallow water in caves. Note that the harvesting is affected by your nature industry slider, in favor of industry. 1/2 output at full nature -- 2x output at full industry.
Bone Clay can be crafted. (Loftar EDIT: It may be less than obvious, but the resultant quality depends on your character's Intelligence and Perception.)
There is also a new rock type, feldspar, available as a herb spawn on moors, mountains and dirt.
Bones can now be charred into bone ash in a kiln.
All old pottery items only require generic clay of any kind.
