btw, I can't seem to make a traveller's sack...says I don't have all the ingredients. I have tried it with 5 leather and 8 spindly taproot, 5 leather/8 nettles, and had some extra in my inventory just to make sure...and still don't have them all?

You need "hardened leather", not regular leather.
