Today i accidentaly chopped down my own quest giver  Was building a palisade and there was only one tree on my way. I knew there is a quest giver somewhere in the area among these ~50 trees, but what was the chance it has to be exactly that one (meh, ~2%)? Haven't got quests from it in a while and in my memory it should be located more to east, so i chopped down it without any second thoughts. Realized i did a mistake when a guy on a boat came and started blaming me of chopping quest givers. So frustrated, still can't get over it.
Could developers please make quest givers immortal? For example could make the soul of the chopped quest giver to pass to another tree in that area.

1) why do trees not show up on mini map once you met them
2) maybe if you chip/chop a quest giver you should take damage

Not a C&I thread. If you wish to discuss this, there are several threads on the matter there.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

RIP Oakengrim, was not an Oak but was pretty grim. Took my final credo quest to his grave.
