What happens when too many quest trees are destroyed in area? New trees are becoming quest givers?
Someone really wants to cut down everything in western continent.

That's my assumption/best guess. Jorb has never given any word of what it the mechanic could be, but randomly cutting down trees is too random, and targeting the trees seems to be pointless.

Well, i had like 15 quests yesterday (western continent). Now it's only 5. Being neighbours with AD looks like a lot of fun (obviously someone destroying every tree so they can't questing).
