They killed my friend looking for hats too. Same people we just started that day I finally got a character to seek them out. There was like 3 people there when I looked so I hearthed back really quick. They are on the south west side of one of the continent.

I was just killed by one of these guys too. Told me to give hat or die so I just dropped it. My corpse is currently at their base. Ignored me when I went with a fresh spawn to ask for it back. One of them is called Snail apparently.

Good job spanking people that cant fight =p

Hats are private and cannot be stolen. You have to transfer ownership, otherwise they cant take it.

Got KOed by three guys traveling in a Snekkja 2 hours ago after refusing to give them my hat. Happened north-east-ish on Dragon continent, so if it's the same guys they're traveling around. They've got full combat outfits now (b12s, hussar's wings etc) so be careful.
