For whatever reason, everyone seems super secretive about maps and faction locations this time. Last world, we had all of this basic information a week ago.

It's not about being secretive ... some ppl run their own shared map severs (which btw isn't new) and those who don't (or can't) run their own have to wait till alg or someonelse is running an open map server ... so if you don't (can't) do it you just have to be patient

Yes.

Care to share some info? I don't need specifics locations, I'd just like to know in general what they are "claiming"... especially to avoid one kingdom, well known for being a bunch of murder hobos...

anyone knows if the smaller continent in the north-east corner is well settled or it's mostly empty, and if could be possible to get there from the main continent we're all in, with a snekkja?

In the W of fat dragon I already came across 2 kingdoms: "white power" and "heartling population" (or something like that).

They thought it would be a good idea to spawn everyone on the same continent and not tell us. Now everyone that wasnt aware, or made aware of in time is balls deep in a current setup. But hey, they have to examine the effects it has on the game. I am personally, so incredibly... thrilled.

Some people were forced to just abandon their 3 week setup and move due to raider and thieves which really sucks. We learned in W8 spawning areas sucks, i'm not sure why they tried again. It's not as bad, for sure, but i'd still rather totally random spawns. Also, the world is overall still kinda small, i kind of wish it was like 50% bigger.
Total misplay.
